My dad used to say ‘always fight fire with fire’, which is probably why he got thrown out of the fire brigade.

Health and Safety

Employers are responsible for providing safe and healthy workplace conditions. Businesses who contravene health and safety legislation have never been more at risk of prosecution, including unlimited fines and even imprisonment.

Employees also have a vital part to play. They need the right knowledge and the right attitude to health and safety. This demands proper training in the basics, as well as specific training for individual tasks.

Certifications

All qualifications in health and safety will assist businesses to comply with their legal requirements by demonstrating that members of staff have been trained in preventive approaches to hazards and promoting a ‘safe practice’ culture. Moreover, they are designed to ensure that all employees are aware of their own safety and the safety of customers.

Accredited and certified course syllabi are defined for four levels from basic awareness to advanced supervision.
