If that resonates with you, we'd love to meet you.About the RoleAs a Chef De Partie, you'll play an integral role in executing a menu that changes with the seasons and reflects our commitment to craftsmanship, hospitality, and continual improvement.You'll execute your station with consistency, precision, and a sense of urgency while working alongside a team that believes excellence comes from discipline, collaboration, and a genuine desire to learn.What You'll Do Station ExecutionExecute your station with consistency, precision, and attention to detail.Prepare and cook seasonal dishes while following Ernest's recipes, techniques, and plating standards.Taste and evaluate your work throughout the day to ensure quality and consistency.Complete daily prep while maintaining organization and efficiency.Adapt to changing priorities while remaining calm and organized during service.Organization & StandardsMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation before, during, and after service.Properly store, label, date, and rotate all products in accordance with food safety standards.Take pride in maintaining your station, equipment, and shared kitchen spaces.TeamworkCommunicate clearly and respectfully with teammates throughout the day.Support your teammates and contribute to a collaborative kitchen culture.Receive feedback with humility and use it as an opportunity to improve.Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, curiosity, and respect.QualificationsOne year of professional cooking experience preferred.Passion for cooking and a desire to continually learn and improve.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to multitask while maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment.Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.California Food Handler Card, or the ability to obtain one before employment, preferred.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly compensation of $20.00 to $25.00, depending on experience.Participation in Ernest's tip pool in accordance with applicable law.Two consecutive days off each week.Health, dental, and vision insurance for eligible employees.401(k) retirement plan.Opportunities for continued education, professional development, and advancement.How to ApplyIf Ernest sounds like the kind of kitchen where you'd like to build your career, we'd love to hear from you.Please send us your resume along with a brief introduction telling us about yourself, your experience, and why you'd like to join our team.Equal Opportunity EmployerErnest is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
